EL ESTADO DE DERECHO Y LA DIVISIÓN DE PODERES fue el tema elegido para reflexión y debate en las XXX Jornadas de la Asociación de Letrados del Tribunal Constitucional que tuvieron lugar en Málaga los días 7 y 8 de noviembre de 2024. El volumen que ahora se publica pone a disposición de un público más amplio las ponencias presentadas en la sesión central de las Jornadas, así como las crónicas de jurisprudencia constitucional preparadas por Letrados del Tribunal Constitucional, objeto de análisis cada año en esta reunión. La primera parte de este libro Estudios contiene la versión escrita de las ponencias. Con el hilo conductor del tema de las Jornadas, se abordan aspectos tales como el Estado de Derecho como valor de la Unión Europea y de los Estados Miembros, qué implica la independencia judicial en el marco del Estado de Derecho, los fundamentos y mecanismos de garantía de la independencia judicial, el papel del Gobierno en el Estado de Derecho actual o los problemas que plantea el control de constitucionalidad del debate parlamentario. El volumen se cierra con las crónicas jurisprudenciales correspondientes al período comprendido entre septiembre de 2023 y septiembre de 2024.
